Important: Please read these terms carefully before using StudySwap. These terms create a legally binding agreement between you and StudySwap.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using StudySwap, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform. These terms apply to all users including buyers, sellers, and visitors.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and currently enrolled in a school, college, or university to use StudySwap. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password with anyone. StudySwap is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized account access due to your negligence.
4. Listings and Content
All materials listed must be genuine, accurately described, and related to academics. Prohibited listings include copyrighted material sold for profit, adult content, illegal items, and non-educational materials. StudySwap reserves the right to remove any listing at any time.
5. Buying and Selling
StudySwap is a platform connecting buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any transaction. Buyers and sellers are responsible for completing their exchange safely and honestly. StudySwap charges a platform fee on successful sales.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You may not: impersonate another person or entity, spam or harass other users, attempt to circumvent our platform fee, use bots or automated tools, upload malware, or engage in any fraudulent activity. Violations may result in immediate account termination.
7. Dispute Resolution
In case of a dispute between a buyer and seller, contact our support team within 48 hours of the transaction. StudySwap will mediate but is not obligated to resolve disputes outside our Buyer Protection Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the StudySwap platform (logos, design, code) is owned by StudySwap and protected by copyright law. You retain ownership of content you upload but grant StudySwap a license to display it on our platform.
9. Limitation of Liability
StudySwap is provided 'as is' without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of data or financial loss from transactions.
10. Modifications
StudySwap may modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the platform after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
